For a number of years, our team has been providing a comprehensive healthcare service for students in Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Donegal formerly known as Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT).

The health centre is located on the first floor of the An Dánlann in the Student Services Suite.

Student Medical Centre Letterkenny LYIT

Opening Hours

On-campus clinics run Monday to Thursday from 9.30 to 1pm during term time. Out of  these hours the nurse in ATU on the Letterkenny campus of  ATU Donegal is available and an appointment can be arranged in Ballyraine Park Health Centre if necessary.

For more information regarding student health can be found on the ATU website or by dropping into the student health centre in the An Dánlann building. Outside of ATU surgery hours, students who have medical cards can be seen free of charge in the Ballyraine Park Health Centre by making an appointment. Students who do not have a medical card can be seen at the discounted rate. of €50.

We also offer a reduced consultation fee of €50 to students of other third level institutions, including the medical students attached to Letterkenny Medical Academy at Letterkenny University Hospital.
