General Health Care
We offer a full range of child health services, providing free GP care to children registered with the under six medical card scheme. This scheme was introduced by the government in 2015 and provides free GP care to all children resident in Ireland under the age of six. To avail of this service, your child must be registered with the scheme. This is very straightforward and can be done easily on the HSE website.

Childhood Vaccinations
Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting babies and children against certain diseases. The risks from having these diseases are far greater than any minor side effects from immunisation. Immunisation protects not only individuals but also others in the community by reducing the spread of disease.
We provide vaccinations included in the Irish national vaccination schedule. These are usually given at birth (the BCG vaccine) in the hospital before your baby comes home and at two months, four months, six months, 12 months, and 13 months before your child starts school. Vaccinations within the national schedule are provided free of charge.
