Travel Health
Destinations such as the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, South America and Central America usually necessitate vaccinations. Antimalaria tablets may also be required. We can provide most of the vaccinations required. Unfortunately, we don’t provide the yellow fever vaccination which is required for some destinations, but your doctor will be able to advise you where you can have this done. We have access to TRAVAX – the most up to date travel vaccination database, and can provide you with the latest information on what is required for your destination.
When you know your destination, book an appointment with one of our doctors and we can advise you on the appropriate vaccinations. It is recommended to book well in advance of travelling as some vaccinations require three separate injections. However, you can still get vaccinated up to two weeks before travelling and get sufficient protection. If you have information on previous travel vaccinations, please bring this to the consultation as this will help the doctor decide what vaccinations you will need.
